Is KCODI really free? Who pays you?
Partner clinics pay us a coordination fee. You pay the clinic directly, at the rate on your written quote. Nothing is paid to KCODI.
Do I have to book if I ask for a quote?
No. Many people ask, compare and decide months later. There is no fee for asking.
I already chose a clinic. Can you still help?
Yes. Tell us the clinic name. We make the booking in Korean and send an interpreter with you.
Do you sell Korea medical tourism packages?
No bundles. A package hides what each part costs. You get an itemised clinic quote at the local rate and pay the clinic directly. The interpreter, the booking and the recovery-stay plan cost you nothing. Flights and hotel you book yourself, from our list of places near your clinic.
When and how do I pay?
After you accept a written quote, the clinic asks for a deposit. The balance is paid at the clinic on the day. Cards are accepted at most clinics.
Which languages do your interpreters speak?
The interpreters shown on this site work the English, Japanese and Mandarin desks, each paired with Korean. For other languages we match an interpreter to you and confirm her name and language before you fly. If nobody is free for your language on your dates, we tell you before you book.
What if I have a problem after I fly home?
Message your interpreter. She relays it to the clinic and gets you an answer in your language. For disputes, Korea runs the Medical Korea Support Center (+82-1577-7129) and K-MEDI mediation.
